The postfix command

Mail transfer agent (MTA). With check it validates the config and with status it tells if running.

Syntax

postfix [check | status | start]Try it in the terminal →

Typical mistakes

  • The configuration lives in /etc/postfix/main.cf (myhostname, mydomain...).
