Image watermark
Protect your photos with your name or logo in seconds, on one image or hundreds at once.
Variables: {filename} {n} {w} {h} {date} {year}
Or click the preview to place it anywhere.
Limits
- Images are saved at their original resolution. Going through canvas removes EXIF metadata, including GPS location, which also protects your privacy.
- Available fonts are those installed on your system; if one is missing a similar fallback is used.
- A watermark deters but cannot stop someone from cropping it or removing it with AI. The diagonal tiled mode is the hardest to remove.
- Some browsers limit maximum canvas size (about 16,000 px per side in Safari).
- Nothing is uploaded to any server.

Posting photos of your work, a property or a product without a watermark makes it easy for others to reuse them without permission. This tool applies your name, website or logo to one or hundreds of images with the same settings, sizing it in proportion to each photo so the mark looks the same on landscape and portrait images. Place it in a discreet corner, exactly where you click or tiled diagonally, the hardest option to crop out. Variables let you number or date each image, and everything is processed in your browser at original resolution.

Frequently asked questions
Where should the watermark go?
A low-opacity corner is less intrusive but easy to crop. For real protection, place it over an important area of the image or use diagonal tiling at 15 to 30% opacity.
Why is size a percentage?
Because photos in a batch often have different resolutions. With a percentage of width or shorter side, the mark takes the same proportion on all of them instead of looking tiny on some and huge on others.
What are the text variables for?
To customize each image automatically: {n} numbers the photos, {filename} inserts the file name, {w} and {h} the dimensions, and {date} or {year} the date. For example, "© {year} Your Studio · {n}".
Do photos lose quality?
They are exported at original resolution. For JPG and WebP you choose the quality; PNG is lossless. EXIF metadata, including GPS location, is removed during processing.
Are my photos uploaded to the internet?
No. Images are read and processed in your browser, so you can use it with private or client photos.
