Uses of Lorem Ipsum text in design and development
Lorem Ipsum text is an essential tool in the workflow of designers and developers. When creating a prototype or mockup, actual content is rarely available yet. Placeholder text allows evaluating the visual design, typographic hierarchy and page balance without the meaning of the text interfering with aesthetic evaluation.
In web and frontend development, Lorem Ipsum also serves to test UI components such as cards, modals, tables and lists with realistic data in terms of length and variety. This helps detect design issues such as text overflowing containers, lines of text that are too long or short, and other responsive design problems before integrating actual content.
