Summary of logical volumes: group, attributes and size.

Syntax

lvs

$ sudo pvcreate /dev/sdbPV
$ sudo vgcreate datos /dev/sdbVG
$ sudo lvcreate -L 2G -n web datosLV
$ sudo lvsSummary

Typical mistakes

  • The full LV path is /dev/group/name.
